Ink Dashboard

The Ink Dashboard provides a clear and comprehensive overview of ink status across all printers in your fleet. It helps you identify potential issues early—before they impact production—by displaying current ink levels, ink usage, and ink-related risks. This enables you to manage ink resources proactively and efficiently.

The Ink Dashboard consists of three main sections:

  • Ink Status: A fast, color-coded overview of ink-related conditions across your printer fleet.
  • Inks Expiring Soon: A list of inks approaching their expiration date, allowing timely action.
  • Inks with Errors: A list of inks that require attention due to errors or critical conditions.

Ink Status

This section shows a color-coded overview of printer ink statuses and highlights whether any ink-related action is required. Each status is represented by an icon:

IconDescription
Printers are in a normal state and don't require any ink-related action.
Printers have critical ink issues, such as expired ink still installed in the printer.
Printers are in monitoring mode. The ink issue is known and already being handled by the service department.
Printers are using inks with known issues (for example: expired), and the customer has explicitly accepted the risk.
Warning only. The ink will expire within one week. Ensure the ink is fully used before expiration or replaced in time.

By clicking on a status, a list of affected printers is displayed. From there, you can directly navigate to the printer’s detail page to review detailed ink information.

Inks Expiring Soon

This section lists printers with inks that are close to their expiration date.
Affected ink colors are highlighted directly on the printer using colored ink dots, making it easy to identify which inks require attention.

Inks with Errors

This section displays all printers that have encountered one or more ink expiration events.
For each printer, the affected ink colors are shown so you can clearly see which inks triggered the issue.

When an ink expires while it's present in a machine, the printer is flagged with an error.
Even if the ink is later replaced with a fresh batch, the printer remains in an error state until the service department reviews the case and actively resolves it.

By enabling Only active batches, the list is filtered to show only inks that are currently expired and still present in the machine. This helps you focus on printers that actively require immediate attention.

Expired inks

Expired inks can lead to print quality issues, machine damage, and unplanned downtime.
Using expired inks voids warranty and service agreements. Make sure to address expiring inks before they appear in this list.
